Andrew currently works with Structural Timber Association managing the business activity including the STA Assure quality standards programme and the Technical Support to members. This innovative quality assurance procedure is at the heart of the Structural Timber industry driving up quality standards.

This follows a number of years with building material supplier SIG Plc. Andrew set up SIG360 Technical Centre in 2012 which is a service proposition dedicated to taking cost and complexity out of construction.

Prior to joining the SIG team Andrew was the Managing Director for a leading Structural Insulated Panel (SIPs) manufacturing and installation business Innovare Systems. At that time Andrew was instrumental in the setting up of the first UK SIPs Trade Association dedicated to supporting the industry, now part of Structural Timber Association.
