UK house prices rose 187% in a decade - Halifax

The average UK house price has risen by more than 187% in the past decade, according to a survey by Halifax. The survey found that five counties have an average house price in excess of £250,000, with only one county, Lochgelly in Scotland, having an average price of less than £100,000.
