WIENERBERGER LAUNCHES SMEED DEAN RECLAIMED YELLOW MIXTURE

Wienerberger, the world's largest brick manufacturer, has launched a new yellow multi stock brick to the market. The Smeed Dean Reclaimed Yellow mixture is a tumbled weathered multi stock with 5 per cent of the bricks painted black and 5 percent painted white to create a beautiful, mottled appearance, ideal as a bespoke heritage blend.

Expected to be popular in the refurbishment market or projects where an old-style appearance is required, the Smeed Dean Reclaimed Yellow mixture is a genuine alternative to reclaimed bricks, having the same aesthetic look of a pre-used product but with the technical guarantees of its modern counterpart.

The product is the latest to be produced at the Smeed Dean factory in Sittingbourne, the last remaining brickworks in Kent. The works has been one of the most prolific producers of yellow stock bricks for more than 200 years and have featured in some of London's most memorable buildings including Buckingham Palace.
