Recent changes to regulations and standards in Scotland and Northern Ireland have enabled builders in both countries to use Robust Details to meet their sound attenuation targets for new build homes, in exactly the same way as house-builders in England and Wales have been able to since 2004, when the scheme was first introduced.
RDL is pleased to be able to help house-builders throughout the UK to achieve their targets - and are particularly pleased to continue to be able to report very high compliance rates for RD-registered new homes (upwards of 98%) at a time when the so-called performance gap (the difference between theoretical design and as-built performance) is at the top of the regulatory agenda.
