The first stage of a new multi-million Derby regeneration scheme is nearing completion and features products manufactured less than 20 miles away by Russell Roof Tiles.
The housing scheme by Thomas Vale Construction is in three areas of Derby - in Spondon, Alvaston and Chaddesden.
Russell Roof Tiles - the UK’s leading independent manufacturer of roof tiles and fittings has supplied its Moray and Galloway tiles on a total of 103 units. The size of job is very significant – and is one of the largest single local contracts all manufactured at Russell Roof Tiles’ Burton on Trent plant.
The £28million regeneration project will to help reduce Derby City Council's housing waiting list. The 170 homes comprise a mixture of two, three and four bedroom houses and apartments which will available to rent.
Russell Roof Tiles has worked closely with roofing contractors Reed Roofing and RS Miller on the scheme.
