GL’s Car Chargers offer Part-S solution for Developers

With the introduction of Part S Building Regulations, EV chargers will become standard within the housebuilder specification. GL’s EVIQ 7.3kW charging point offers a solution for developers as it meets all Part-S requirements including the Smart Charging Regulations coming into effect June 2022.

GL’s EVIQ car charger is site ready and can be installed by the developer’s existing electrical sub-contractors. The sleek design is an all-in-one box solution as it contains an inbuilt 40 amp RCBO, negating the need for an additional garo box and has a built in PME fault detection, meaning no earth spike or additional equipment is required. A free CT clamp is included and the socket is an untethered, universal socket.

Homeowners benefit from a future-proof, smart system featuring dynamic load management, intelligent power adjustment, emergency stop, WIFI or ethernet monitoring and a LED charging status indicator. A free app allows users to manage timers, create charging records, and control security.
