Sir Bob Kerslake

Sir Robert Kerslake, the first Chief Executive of the Homes and Communities Agency, began in post as Chief Executive Designate from 31 March 2008.

From 1997 to 2008 he was Chief Executive of Sheffield City Council, the fourth largest in England.  The Council is rated as a four-star authority and was Council of the Year in 2005.

Nationally, he has also been a non-executive Board member at the Department for Communities and Local Government and was a member of both the Equalities Review Panel and the National Employment Panel
