Nicholas is CEO and co-founder of Heylo Housing Limited. He is an experienced finance professional with experience in creating and investing in opportunities across a number of asset classes including Residential Property, Alternative Investments, Structured Finance, Project Finance, Corporate and Retail.
Over the past 7 years Nicholas and the Heylo team have been working with liability driven investors, local authorities, house builders, housing associations and Government to deliver affordable shared ownership to lower and middle income households across the UK who may be trapped in "Generation Rent" and for whom the prospect of getting on the housing ladder seems out of reach.
Drawing on the Heylo team's structuring, fund raising, investment management and real estate experience as well as the teams knowledge of long dated, illiquid asset classes Nicholas and the Heylo team have been able to create the first fully amortising, index liked investment opportunity with the flexibility for investors to match their individual long term inflation linked liability profiles (whilst simultaneously and efficiently delivering the affordable shared ownership housing the country greatly needs).
Prior to forming Heylo Housing, Nicholas was a co-founder of a Structured Products business and has held a variety of positions in HBOS, PwC and HSBC over the past 20 years.
