Neil Hope-Collins

Neil has worked for HSE for over 20.  In his time as an operational Inspector he worked across a range of sectors from agriculture to the M.O.D. and local authorities via engineering, food, electricity distribution and construction.  He is particularly proud to have been instrumental in the first field trials of HSE’s management standards for work related stress and playing a lead role in securing a conviction for corporate manslaughter.  He joined the building safety programme in November 2020 where he now leads operational policy for HSE’s role as the building control authority for higher risk buildings
