Lee Greatorex

Lee Greatorex has been an Inspector with the Health and Safety Executive for over 16 years. He joined HSE as an inspector in Construction Division which included inspecting a wide range of construction and licensed asbestos work. He held positions of lead inspector for roads, passenger lifts and MEWPs. After 9 years, he changed roles to inspect other industry sectors, including manufacturing, fairgrounds and agriculture and as a lead for process safety in anaerobic digestion. He has also been the national lead for a number of multi-site companies. Lee is currently working in HSE’s Regulatory Support Unit which provides construction specific expertise to the inspectorate as well as industry and trade bodies. Lee’s current portfolio topics include work at height, dust and utilities.
