Katy started her career in 2004 with National Grid Transco as an administration assistant, working in all departments across their connections business before moving in to Account Management in 2006 for the start of their Independent Gas Transportation Networks business.
In 2008, Katy relocated to the South East as Regional Sales Manager for Fulcrum Pipelines Ltd and was involved in securing new gas connections to London’s iconic sky line of Canary Wharf, Heron Tower, the Gurkin Building and the Olympic Park.
In 2011 Katy joined Balfour Beatty as Business Development Manager for their Facilities Management division Balfour Beatty Work place procuring energy and looking at energy efficiency solutions for large commercial buildings under management.
In 2012 Katy Rejoined Fulcrum as Business development Manager in their Multi Utility Team, expanding her knowledge on Independent Electricity Distribution last mile connections for Residential developments and NAV agreements for Water.
In 2015 Katy joined GTC & BUUK as Regional Sales Manager. GTC own and operate Utility infrastructure for new homes. Their assets include gas, electricity, fibre-to-the-home, water and wastewater. More recently GTC have been installing a low rise district heating solution for National Housebuider’s to help achieve Carbon reduction for future homes standard coming in to play.
Katy lives in Sussex with her toy Poodle Ruby and has a keen interest in Dressage. Katy has successfully competed for England with her own dressage horse against Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales in Home International competitions.
