Emma Ramell is Director of External Affairs of the Home Builders Federation. Emma joined HBF in September 2018 and is responsible for the organisation’s engagement with Parliamentarians and its broader external affairs activity. Most recently, she led on HBF’s General Election activity including the publication of the report Home building: An engine for growth, prosperity and opportunity.
As part of her role, Emma is also responsible for HBF’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Working Group which recently held its inaugural conference and provides support to the Federation’s ongoing Mental Health Awareness Campaign.
After beginning her career in Parliament, Emma moved into policy and public affairs. She has worked in a variety of sectors including retail, food and drink, health and housing.
