Dr Mervyn Jones

Mervyn is the Construction Programme Manager for waste minimisation & management within WRAP (the Waste & Resources Action Programme). Waste minimisation and management in construction will deliver against each of WRAP's three construction targets '€“ tonnage, value and savings - that are set out in the third Business Plan for 2006-08.

WRAP has a range of sector-facing areas within its construction programme that cover reducing waste, managing materials resources more efficiently, materials recycling and procuring products with higher recycled content.

Before working at WRAP, Mervyn has worked for 16 years in the construction industry for both public  (Building Regulations, energy and the environment on behalf of Government, and in partnership with many of the major professional institutions and trade bodies) and private sector for Davis Langdon, cost & construction management consultants.
