Don Leiper

Don read English Language and Linguistics at Nottingham University in 1985 and began his business career as a Chartered Accountant in the shipping industry.

He joined the energy industry with East Midlands Electricity (EME) in 1992 working in Mergers & Acquisitions, Customer Services and IT.
In July 2002, Don took on the role of Chief Information Officer for E.ON UK.  In April 2005, he became Director of Metering, a role he continued to hold until his appointment as Managing Director, Energy Services, in 2008.
Following a restructure of E.ON's UK operations in 2011, Don was appointed Director of New Business, leading a team bringing sustainable energy measures to customers and developing the next generation of low carbon technologies

Don is married with two teenage children and is also a keen sportsman.  His latest loves are golf and ice hockey.
