Cllr Gillian Brown

Gillian Brown was elected to Arun District Council in 1991 representing Aldwick East ward and was elected Leader of the Council in May 2006 with her main interests being planning, housing and economic regeneration.

She is a member of the District Council's Network Executive Committee and is the Planning Lead for the DCN. Gill was a member of the LGA's former Economy & Transport Board and has just been made Vice-Chairman of the LGA People and Places Board. She is Chairman of the Bognor Regis Regeneration Board which is a public/private partnership and is a member of the newly established Coast to Capital (LEP) Strategic Joint Committee.

Gillian trained as a computer programmer with a private bank and she has past experience in commercial design and as a director of a Commercial Design Company and a Communications Company, giving business support and advice to small businesses.
