Carl has worked in the Energy/Utilities & Infrastructure industry for over 35 yearrs. Carl started his early career at Dwr Cymru/Welsh Water, learning his trade from below ground up as a service operative before taking up senior positions across the regulated business – which, later became Hyder Plc - where he played a key part in the development of competition in utility connections; which is now the established multi-utility market we have in place today. Carl continued to influence policy and market structures in electricity metering before taking up a number of senior directorship roles with Balfour Beatty, ENGIE & Interserve delivering energy and building management services for large public and private portfolio holders. Carl is now leading on the energy transition for BUUK working with national and regional housebuilders to find low cost, low carbon solutions as an alternative to gas.

- Lead on North East Lincolnshire Loc Auth regeneration public and private partnership securing investment, economic growth across the region.
- Mobilisation of 700 bed Nightingale Hospital in 12 days, recruitment & training of 367 staff to support all non-clinical services of the operation. Hospital catered for over 500 covid patients during its time of operation.
