Brian Stevenson

With a 35-year career in construction, working in Building Control, Technical Operations and now in NHBC’s Major Projects Team, Brian has an in-depth knowledge of the Building Regulations and associated legislation. He leads a multi-disciplinary team of technical building consultants, building control surveyors, structural engineers and fire engineers. His team has responsibility for the assessment and management of the Building Control and technical risk on the most complex, high-risk and high-value residential or mixed-use developments with NHBC. Brian is a member of the Building Control Alliance (BCA) Technical Workgroup and NHBC’s lead liaison with the London Fire Brigade Fire Engineering Group
