Andy Rose
has been the Chief Executive of the HCA since 15 April 2013.
Andy was previously Chief Executive of Infrastructure UK which sits in HM Treasury. He joined HMT in 2009 when he established The Infrastructure Finance Unit, created to lend directly to infrastructure projects as a response to the credit crunch. Prior to joining HMT, he was an Executive Board Member of Partnerships UK PLC, a body owned by both the public and private sectors, with a remit to support the delivery of major infrastructure projects sponsored by the public sector. Andy's private sector experience included being a Partner from 2011-2013 at AgFe, a leading specialist European debt advisor and asset manager.
Andy also spent 17 years at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce where he was the Managing Director responsible for the infrastructure business within its Investment Banking Division in Europe. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas, Austin. He lives in Weybridge and is married with three sons.
