Skanksa quits UK housebuilding market

Skanska UK has announced today (September 5) that it will no longer build its own residential schemes. The Swedish firm said that the other markets in which it was active – construction, infrastructure and commercial development - were providing better returns for its shareholders than its housebuilding arm.
