Redrow\'s completions and profits drop as market tightens

Redrow's interim resuts for the half-year to December 2007 revealed declining market conditions, with the plc's pre-tax profits down 34% to £35.8 million on a turnover of £353.1 million, which was down 9% on 2006/07. Completions were down from 2,214 to 2,111, while average selling prices across the group - including Homes and Regeneration businesses - were maintained at £162,800. …
