A giant stainless steel sculpture of flying women, by Rick Kirby, has been unveiled at the Ravenswood housing development on the site of the former Ipswich Airport. Developed jointly by Bellway Homes and Ipswich Borough Council, the new 1,000-home community has won a Gold Trophy in the Environment Agency-sponsored Green Apple environmental awards.
