A "Site Watch" partnership developed between local police, Neighbourhood Watch members and developers Persimmon, Westbury, Barratt, Kings Oak and Redrow has reduced crime on a problematic 3,500-home development site in Weston-super-Mare. "The introduction of 'Site Watch' signs and logos around the development has been highly successful; we recommend this model to other developers," said local constable Tony Salisbury.
