Paul Phipps - Taylor Woodrow's executive director, housing - has been appointed managing director of Bryant Homes, the combined business emerging from the takeover. The firm will build around 6000 homes a year with a turnover of approximately £845 million. Current Bryant Technical Services md Nick Smith will become operations director. Bryant chief executive Peter Long will leave.
