Mortgage levels hit new high - Bank of England

Mortgage levels have reached a new high, according to Bank of England lending figures. The total value of lending secured on dwellings in November rose by £1.5 billion, beating October’s’ rise of £1.1 billion and the previous six month average of £0.7 billion. November saw 60,518 mortgage approvals against October’s 57,718.
