London housing plan boost

London mayor Ken Livingston has been backed to boost the capital’s annual housing output from 23,000 to 30,650. Proposals to increase the GLA’s London Plan housing target by 33% were realistic, said the examination in public panel. Livingstone said: “All those responsible for delivery must now work together to ensure we meet and, if possible, exceed these targets.”
