Housebuilding figures spark political row

The housebuilding figures for England in 2011 have been released prompting a political row between housing minister Grant Shapps and his shadow Jack Dromey. The figures reveal that 98,240 homes were started in England in 2011, compared to 102,770 in 2010. 109,020 were completed, compared to 103,300 the year before.
