Housebuilders spend nearly £1bn on shared equity - HBF

Housebuilders have placed nearly £1 billion into shared equity schemes over the past three years, the Home Builders Federation (HBF) has revealed. HBF’s figures showed that £835 million of shared equity loans were brought forward between January 2008 and February 2011, which had resulted in the sale of 28,000 homes.
