House prices rise 0.1% - Hometrack

House prices in England and Wales rose 0.1% in April, according to Hometrack’s latest housing survey. This is marginally down on the 0.2% rise seen in March. Hometrack said that the rises over the past two months had been driven by increased demand, with new buyer registrations over the past three months increasing by almost 25%.
