House prices fall for a second month in a row – Nationwide

House prices dropped by 0.5% in December, the second consecutive monthly decline, according to Nationwide’s monthly survey of the housing market. The survey also found that the annual rate of house price inflation fell to 4.8%, against 6.9% in November and 10.5% in December 2006.
