Government launches zero carbon challenge

Communities secretary Ruth Kelly has challenged housebuilders to come up with low and zero carbon developments within the next six months. Kelly launched the English Partnerships run Carbon Challenge today. Housebuilers and construction firms will initially bid for two sites, Hanham Hall near Bristol and Glebe Road in Peterborough, which will contain a minimum of 200 homes. The successful bidders …
