Government is to introduce a national Code for Sustainable Building (CSB), containing standards for energy and water efficiency and waste management, which may be higher than existing Buiding Regulations. The decision has come out of recommendations made by the Sustainable Buildings Task Group, a government sponsored group which proposed the introduction of a code to raise quality standards.
