Laing O’Rourke launched the first development by its private sector housing arm, Explore Living, in the Thames Gateway. Phoenix Parc, on the site of a former factory near Dartford, Kent, incorporates 151 one and two-bedroom apartments and 34 two and threebedroom houses. The firm is planning further schemes in Maldon and Brighton.
