UK private sector registrations rose 14% in the final three months of 2012 against the same period in 2011 according to NHBC. Over the period, 17,961 private homes were registered while public sector registrations grew 25% to 6,606.<br> <br> NHBC said that private sector registrations had remained stable throughout 2012 with 78,120 registrations against 78,250 in 2011. However total registrations fell 9% year on year to 104,510, with public registrations falling from 36,680 in 2011 to 26,390.
