New homes are rapidly changing to meet the climate and environmental challenges of the 21st century. The inaugural Future Homes conference will be held on 22 November at the Institute for Engineering and Technology, Savoy Place, London to bring the home building community together on the roadmap to net zero and sustainability.

Join us to take stock of what is changing when, get insights from those already designing to new standards, discuss the key challenges ahead and what we can do together to solve them.  The agenda will include high profile speakers including senior politicians, industry leaders and solutions-providers. 

David Thomas, CEO of Barratt Developments and Chair of the Future Homes Hub said;

“The housebuilding industry is facing a significant period of change as it transitions to designing and building zero carbon, nature-friendly new homes and communities, If we are to achieve an effective and progressive transition, the whole industry will need to work together to develop a shared roadmap that delivers high quality sustainable homes and places at the pace and scale required.

“The Future Homes conference, organised by the Future Homes Hub, will provide an opportunity for delegates to hear directly from government as well as leaders and experts from those businesses that have taken the first steps on their journey. It will also provide a forum for industry-wide collaboration and discussion at an important moment, helping all businesses as they prepare for the challenges and opportunities ahead.”

This all day conference will include a plenary and rotating breakout sessions covering the main issues facing the sector.  Registration from 9am, conference start at 10am with an estimated 5pm finish.
