Stone mason Johnny Clasper has hand built an impressive sculpture which greets house hunters as they enter Heathe Meadow, a three and four bedroom scheme by Loughborough-based William Davis Homes that is being delivered in the Leicestershire village of Rothley.(Pictured) House hunters will notice Johnny Clasper's impressive stone sculpture as they enter the William Davis Homes development
“I spent time driving around the local area to get an idea of the stone styles but it seemed that decorative brickwork was more prevalent,” Clasper said. “Using this idea as the basis for my design, I created a drawing for a sculpture that would deliberately stick out as a feature for the development.”
Measuring 10m in length by 1.8m in height, the sculpture took Clasper six weeks to create.
